Indiana CTE (Career and Technical Education) needs your support NOW!

Help us by contacting your legislators and letting them know you OPPOSE CUTTING FUNDING FOR ANY CTE PROGRAMS.  House Bill 1001 has language that removes funding for CTE classes in valuable career areas including Cosmetology, Culinary Arts, Energy, Fashion, Horticulture, Graphic Imaging, and Radio/TV.  Funding lost in this area is another cut to public school funding because CTE funding goes into the comprehensive high school’s general fund.  Students deserve the opportunity to explore all careers and careers that interest them….not just careers dictated by lawmakers.  Reach out and make your voice heard to keep all CTE programs.

Please contact our Indiana legislators at the following emails and ask them to oppose cutting funding for any CTE Programs!

Representative Beau Baird

Senator Rodric Bray

Senator John Crane
